It’s Back! Farm Safety Week returns this summer from 20-24 July for its 14th annual campaign, managed and funded by the team here at the Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies) and this year, we’re doing things a little differently…
This year, Farm Safety Week is not about statistics… it’s about PEOPLE.
For the past 14 years, Farm Safety Week has been the one week in the calendar where the industry comes together to highlight the main challenges to addressing farming’s persistently poor safety record. Activities during the week cover a range of content including press releases, social media posts, videos, blogs, research, case studies and of course key messages designed to spark conversation and encourage safer behaviours across the industry.
The great thing about the Farm Safety Week campaign is that there is no single way to take part. Together with over 500 partners across the UK and Ireland, you can join the conversation and share our content directly, tailor it for your own audiences and networks or create your own posts or activity to support the overall message – But please remember to tag us in and use the official hashtag #FarmSafetyWeek
Get Involved
If you would like to support Farm Safety Week this year, we’d love to have you on board.
All registered partners will receive our official campaign toolkit at least one week before launch on Monday 20 July packed with key themes, messaging and practical ideas to help you plan your activity and get involved in a way that works for your organisation.
Whether you share our content, tell your own stories, or simply help start conversations, every action matters.
