As many of you know, our yellow wellies ambassadors are an invaluable source of support to the charity. Some have been with us from the start and others we have met through the course of our activities and these relationships can last months or, in some circumstances, years. We become friends and this is the privilege of working in a charity like the Farm Safety Foundation…
One such ambassador is Yelvertoft’s food and farming hero, Milly Fyfe, who makes her debut acting role in our brand new hero film as the wife of a farmer struggling to deal with his mental health.
Milly very generously offered to host us on her farm for the filming of this year’s hero film so Stephanie joined video producer Luc Edwards on Milly’s farm in Yelvertoft, Northampton a few weeks ago together with Tim Treolar (previously seen in Disney’s 2014 movie Maleficent). They even roped in Andrew, Milly’s husband, to consult on the correct use of the machinery and vehicles featured in the film. Milly’s clip, which shows her chatting to her on-screen husband, was shot in the family’s kitchen giving authenticity to this short but powerful film.
